TrackSprites Privacy Policy

TrackSprites (tracksprites.com) is a fan-made companion tool for tracking Fortnite sprite collections. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Epic Games, Inc. This page explains what information TrackSprites collects, why, and how it's used.

Information we collect

Account information (only if you sign in). You can browse and use TrackSprites without an account. If you choose to sign in with Discord, Google, or Epic Games, we receive a unique account ID from that provider, your display name, and a link to your avatar image. We do not receive your email address, password, or friends/contacts list from these providers, and we never see or store your login credentials — sign-in happens entirely on Discord's, Google's, or Epic's own site.

Collection data. If you're signed in, we store which sprites and variants you've marked as owned, so your collection is saved between visits and can be shared.

Group codes. If you create or join a group to compare collections with friends, we store which group you're a member of.

Automatically collected data. Like most web services, our server logs standard technical information (IP address, request timestamp, and requested page) for security and abuse prevention. We use one first-party session cookie to keep you signed in — no third-party advertising or tracking cookies, and no analytics scripts.

How we use this information

We use the information above only to operate TrackSprites: saving and displaying your sprite collection, letting you generate share links or group codes so friends can see what you can trade, and keeping you signed in. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Sharing

TrackSprites includes features that are shareable by design — profile share links and group codes exist specifically so you can show your collection to friends. Anyone with a link or code you share can see the collection information associated with it. Beyond that, we do not share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

Third-party sign-in providers

When you sign in with Discord, Google, or Epic Games, that provider's own privacy policy governs the data they hold about you:

Data retention and deletion

We retain your account and collection data for as long as your account exists. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us using the email below.

Children's privacy

TrackSprites is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we store, but no online service can guarantee complete security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision.
